Before we formally meet…
For all new therapy and coaching client inquiries, a free 20-minute phone consultation is required to ensure Wildwood is the right fit to meet your needs and preferences.
Insurance Networks & Self-Pay
In-Network
Kelsey is currently in-network with BCBS PPO, Blue Choice PPO, Aetna, and Optum/United Healthcare. It is recommended that you call your insurance company prior to the first session to verify benefits.

Out-of-Network
If you are using out-of-network benefits, payment is due at the time of service.
Wildwood uses Mentaya to connect clients with an easy way to instantly check and leverage their out-of-network benefits to receive up to 80% reimbursement on private pay therapy. Use the tool below to see if you qualify for reimbursement for therapy services.
Self-Pay
Self-Pay appointments are available for those not using insurance.
Reduced fee options are offered on a limited basis, when available; please indicate when scheduling if you are interested in discussing a reduced fee.
Insurance FAQs

You can check online, through your insurance carrier’s website and/or member portal.
If you have your insurance card, you can also look on the back of the card and call the phone number listed. Typically this appears as ‘Member Services’, or something similar.

You can still verify coverage through the insurance carrier’s website or by calling the phone number on the back of your insurance card.
However, you will need some additional necessary information about whoever the ‘Subscriber’ or primary insurance member is (ie your parent, partner, etc.); including their full name, date of birth, address, social security number, and insurance details. This typically includes the insurance provider name (ie BCBS, Aetna, UHC), policy number, and group number (if applicable).

Please keep in mind that your insurance plan benefits are a contract between you, your employer (or whatever entity is providing insurance benefits) and your insurance company; and the information provided to Wildwood by insurance companies can at times be incomplete or incorrect.
You are encouraged to verify your benefits with your insurance provider directly, prior to the time of your first appointment.
Therapy Fees
The self-pay rates offered here are based on experience and specialty.
These rates are reflective of the work I do both within and outside of sessions to continually provide the highest standard of care.
Good therapy that doesn't break the bank should be accessible for all, not just a privilege for a few. Yet the cost of healthcare today is a burden for many.
I am willing to discuss options for reducing session frequency to better fit within financial constraints.
Services provided after the free 20-minute phone consultation are subject to the rates listed below.
Initial Intake Session for Individual Therapy | 60-75 minutes | $180
Initial Intake Session for Couples/Relationship Therapy | 60-75 minutes | $200
Individual Therapy Session | 50-55 minutes | $165
Couples/Relationship Session | 50-55 minutes | $175
The Gottman Assessment | $195
The fee for The Gottman Assessment is inclusive of the Therapist's analysis and customized treatment plan
Additional services may be discussed and available at an additional fee.
Payment is due at the time of service. Credit cards and Zelle are accepted forms of payment.
Late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) or no-shows will be charged the full session fee out-of-pocket.
Coaching Fees
During the free 20-minute phone consultation and initial intake session, we will get a sense of your hopes for time commitment and timeframe.
Typically, work is structured in 5-session increments, but adjusted as needed to fit the needs of each client.
Services provided after the free 20-minute phone consultation are subject to the rates listed below.

Coaching Sessions | 50 minutes | $150
Additional services may be discussed and available at an additional fee.
Payments are due at the time of service. Credit cards and Zelle are accepted forms of payment.

Education Workshops & Consulting Fees
Each consulting and education opportunity is unique and pricing can be discussed in detail based on the time and commitment of each service or event.
Generally an hourly rate plus preparation and any required travel (for in-person engagements) is considered.
